Valeria Cera is an ambitious young professional starting her career with Horizons. A native of Santa Fe, NM, Valeria graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Business Administration, focusing on Finance. Throughout her college career, Val dedicated herself to building expertise in finance, participating in internships and investment clubs.
Her passion for financial planning and investments drove her academic pursuits and prepared her for a successful entry into the field. She has just taken and passed the FINRA Series 65 exam, “the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination”, which is required for anyone wishing to be licensed as an Investment Adviser in the US. And she is preparing to begin the arduous process of becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.
As our Investor Service & Financial Planning Associate, Val is eager to apply her knowledge and skills to benefit individuals seeking sound financial guidance. She looks forward to leveraging her education and practical experience to make a positive impact in the world of finance. Beyond her professional endeavors, Val finds fulfillment in outdoor activities, maintaining an active lifestyle through exercise, and exploring new destinations through travel.
